An 18-year-old man faces a felony robbery charge after Chicago police officers nabbed him minutes following a heist, authorities said.
Tyrese Green, of the 1200 block of S. Austin Blvd., Chicago, Illinois, was identified as the culprit in a recent robbery in the city's 25th District, said the police. After the crime, which took place at a business located in the 3000 block of N. Pulaski, Green was arrested on February 22, 2024, at around 5:29 p.m. in the 3900 block of W. Barry, Chicago police detailed, in a statement.
In addition to the robbery charge, there are two warrants issued for Green's arrest. He is scheduled for a detention hearing at the courthouse located at 2600 S. California on February 24, 2024.
