Arizona's culinary scene is basking in the glow of national recognition as Yelp's latest list of the top 100 pizza spots in the country includes eight standout parlors from the Grand Canyon State. Coinciding with National Pizza Day, this list has put Arizona on the map, tying for third place with Florida for the most entries, and only falling behind California and New York.

The Yelp rankings were compiled based on factors such as the volume and quality of reviews, particularly those from the "Yelp Elites". Among the rated, Hideaway House in Sedona took the highest spot for an Arizona pizzeria, snagging the No. 19 position. Nestled amongst Sedona's stunning red rocks, the restaurant boasts a relaxing atmosphere and a reputation for scrumptious offerings, according to 12News.

Joe's Farm Grill in Gilbert followed closely at No. 23, while Cibo in downtown Phoenix took the No. 29 spot with its authentic Italian fare. The Parlor and Federal Pizza, both based in Phoenix, were also featured on the list, emphasizing the city's burgeoning reputation as a pizza lover's paradise, as reported by KTAR.

The remainder of Arizona's honorees includes Fat Olives and Beaver Street Brewery from Flagstaff, and Pisa Lisa, a second Sedona-based establishment, which confirmed its place at No. 62. Each establishment stood out for its unique offerings, from Napoletana-style pies cooked in authentic wood-fired ovens to pizzas topped with locally sourced ingredients.
