Temperatures today are expected to soar almost to 60 degrees, before the sun takes a short recess tonight as clouds roll in, pegging lows at around 40, the National Weather Service reports.
Despite the West wind ambling about at 5 mph tonight, Atlanta's weather waltz continues into Friday with the thermostat nudging a comfortable 65 degrees. A Northwest breeze could kick up to 15 mph in gusts, just enough to whip through the hair of the unassuming, playing a light tune across the city. Clear skies will escort us into nighttime, with the mercury slipping to the low 40s.
As we roll into the weekend, the city sits under a canopy of sunlight on Saturday with temperatures hovering near the 60-degree mark. The wind, hailing from the East this time, will busily hustle at around 10 mph, gusting upwards of 15 mph.
