Deputies rushed to Atrium Health Navicent Medical Center where they were informed about the injured child who had been transported to the facility by private vehicle, officials reported the shooting happened around 11:49 p.m. yesterday but the circumstances leading up to the event remain unclear as authorities have not disclosed any details on potential suspects or motives. They did confirm that no other injuries were reported and that the baby is fortunately expected to recover from the injury
