The clinics are taking a community first approach, slated to roll into three locations. The free pet care begins on February 9th at the Firefighters Union Building in Lauderhill. Emily Wood, director of Broward County Animal Care, expressed the initiative's importance, "We are proud to provide essential services to multiple communities throughout Broward County," as per a statement from the Broward County Animal Care website. "Being able to consistently provide these services and have such a big turn out each time helps to confirm how much these resources are needed."
Scheduling is not mandatory yet encouraged, aiming to ensure as many pets can be seen as possible. February 10th will find services available at West Park City Hall, and the following day, Mitchell Moore Park in Pompano Beach will host the event. All services are promised on a first-come, first-served basis with a clear caveat – they're available only "while supplies last," as reported by the Broward County Animal Care's Facebook page.
