The search is on for a missing 15-year-old girl from Detroit, who disappeared after leaving school on Monday, CBS Detroit reported. Zhari Craig was last seen in the morning of Feb. 26 near her home at the 16500 block of Oakfield Avenue, and she did not make it home after school that day. The Detroit Police Department has turned to the community for help in their efforts to locate her.
Described as being 5 feet 4 inches tall, 130 lbs., with brown eyes and black and blonde braids, Craig was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the phrase "Free Young Thug" in green font, a black jumpsuit, and purple and black Jordan shoes. She also had a black and gray backpack, shared clickondetroit. Failing to return home after school, the teenager has been the focus of a concerted search effort.
The police are asking anyone who may have information about Craig’s whereabouts to immediately contact the Detroit Police Department’s 8th Precinct at 313-596-5801 or get in touch with Crime Stoppers at 1-800-Speak Up. Crime Stoppers allows tips to be given anonymously and has proven to be a vital asset in this and other cases, both for the authorities and the community.
