The Fort Worth Police Department has put out a call for assistance in nabbing a suspect accused of swiping cash from a Girl Scout cookie stand. The theft occurred on a bustling Sunday afternoon, February 11, right outside a Walmart at 9500 Clifford St., when the thief made off with a bag of the day’s earnings around 2 p.m. According to police, the bag was snatched from behind the table before the suspect made a beeline for the parking lot, according to the Fort Worth Police Department.
Described as an 18-24-year-old black male, the suspect was last seen donning a grey hoodie and black beanie. The Fort Worth PD has released a photo in the hope that someone might recognize the alleged cookie cash bandit and step forward with information. Walking into the crowd, the suspect's identity remains elusive as the police work tirelessly to put a name to the face that CCTV footage showed.
For anyone who might hold a clue as to who this person is, Detective C. Magallon is the point of contact at the Fort Worth Police Department, reachable at 817-392-4837.
