The local animal savants over at Grand Prairie Animal Services and Adoption Center (GPAS) are back with their crafty 'Egg My House' fundraiser, and it's got residents scrambling to get a piece of the action for those living in the heart of Grand Prairie. It's not just about kids ransacking the garden for candy-stuffed eggs anymore, GPAS is tossing a bone to the pups and kitties, too.
That'll net you a dozen eggs with an assortment of Easter treats when you swing by Prairie Paws Animal Shelter to collect. If you fancy the convenience of not leaving your roost, fork over $15 and have the basket delivered right to your doorstep on March 30—but only if your nest is planted firmly within Grand Prairie's city limits. Staff at GPAS will play Easter bunny overnight and hide those eggs around your homestead, ensuring a morning of frenzy for kids and furballs alike. It's an offer open only to Grand Prairie residents.
Before you start counting those chickens before they've hatched, make sure you've coughed up the dough. "Order is not complete without payment," as per the City of Grand Prairie, Texas, and they mean business. Blissful bedlam on Easter morning and a little extra kibble in the bowls of furry friends over at the shelter.
