
A blood-soaked dispute ended in gunfire on the North Side of San Antonio when a man was left critically injured after being shot six times. The San Antonio Police Department found the victim, a man in his 20's, riddled with bullets to his head, arms, and body in the front yard of a house at the 200 block of Adrian Drive late Tuesday night, around 10:15 p.m., according to KENS5.
SAPD officers responded to the emergency calls for a shooting in progress, and upon arriving they discovered the gravely injured man, who was quickly transported to University Hospital where he remains in critical condition, and there was no immediate word on his chances for recovery police have shared no further updates on his condition. The residence, nestled between Vance Jackson Road and West Avenue, is known to house multiple tenants with the victim reported to have been renting a room there and police said that it was during an alleged argument with the suspect, also believed to be a resident, that the violence erupted, this according to information gathered by FOX San Antonio.
The suspect, described as a thin man by police, fled the scene and has yet to be apprehended; officers have been scouring the area and an investigation is vigorously ongoing. Details on what sparked the confrontation remain sparse and those with any relevant information are urged to come forward to assist the SAPD in their pursuit of justice for the victim.
Communications have been muddied by a language barrier which, combined with the severity of the victim’s injuries, has resulted in only a vague description of the suspect being disseminated to the public.
