
One Michigan lottery player secured a prize amounting to $25,000 per year for the rest of their life, after purchasing a winning Lucky For Life ticket in Mount Pleasant. The fortunate ticket was bought at Borders Corner Store, located at 7024 E. Pickard Rd., as per reports from FOX 2 Detroit.
The winning numbers for Tuesday night’s draw were 05-07-13-37-39. The winner, who is yet to come forward, now faces the decision of either taking the prize as annual installments of $25,000 for at least 20 years or the span of their life, or opting for a one-time lump sum of $390,000. According to a, statement obtained by ClickOnDetroit, this marks the first occurrence in this year a Michigan player has captured a lifetime prize with the Lucky For Life game.
Lottery officials are urging the winner to step forward to claim their earnings. "The winner should contact the Michigan Lottery Player Relations Division at 844-917-6325 to set up a time to get their prize. They have until Feb. 20, 2025 to do so," as mentioned in an article from FOX 2 Detroit. The headquarters at Lansing is designated as the place for claiming the prize.
