The Minneapolis Police Department urgently requires assistance from the public to help track down a man connected to a January bar shooting that left the community rattled. As reported on the official Minneapolis Police Department Facebook page, the incident occurred just after midnight on January 7, outside a watering hole on the 2000 block of Washington Ave. N. While cops have managed to apprehend two suspects, the main suspect is still at large.
Details concerning the wanted individual are scant but specific: a medium-built man with dark hair, aged in his 30s or 40s. Authorities are asking anyone with information to come forward and to not engage with the suspect but instead, to quickly dial 911. Keep an eye out for case No. 24-005355 when reporting the sighting. The Minneapolis Police urge anyone who might recognize or know the whereabouts of the suspect to hastily reach out to them via email at [email protected] or to leave a voicemail at 612-673-5845.
The search for the shooter spreads wider than local efforts. The public can also share tips anonymously by reaching out to CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). CrimeStoppersMN.org is also set up to receive electronic submissions, for those preferring to relay what they know through the digital veil.
