One incident on February 5 at the Fifth Precinct saw officers swiftly apprehending a suspect who threatened a man with a gun. Thanks to video evidence, the alleged aggressor was arrested, and he was booked for the assault besides being wanted on an existing warrant, according to the Minneapolis Police Department.
Hitting the ground running on the next day in the same precinct, officers nailed down a suspect menacing individuals with a knife. By a curious happenstance, the perpetrator was already sought after for earlier threats of arson. He now faces charges of making terroristic threats, and the knife was confiscated.
The seriousness of the police work was illuminated during a foot pursuit on February 7, capturing two men after they brandished a gun at a security guard. Post-chase, weapons violations, threats, and outstanding felony warrants were added to their rap sheets, and a firearm was retrieved from the scene, as reported by the Minneapolis Police Department.
A disturbing report of a shooting drew officers to an apartment building hallway on February 9 in the Second Precinct. The police immediately rendered medical aid to the victim and cornered the accused shooter in an apartment, booking him for assault with a dangerous weapon.

Establishing a strategic perimeter around the wreckage, a duo of juvenile culprits were sniffed out by a K-9 unit and subsequently booked for robbery.
