According to the National Weather Service, the city will see a high near 58 today, marked by brisk southeasterly winds that could reach up to 30 mph in gusts. The south-southeast winds, remaining steady at 15 to 20 mph, are then predicted to shift to the southwest in the afternoon. As the workweek winds down, Friday's forecast is a tad chillier with a high near 37. The cloudy panorama persists with winds coming from the west at a pace of 15 to 20 mph, and gusts still as mighty as 25 mph. Friday night won't offer much respite from the cold as temperatures are projected to dip to around 25, with winds continuing from the west-northwest at a similar intensity.
Likely record highs into Thursday as active weather returns. Rounds of showers expected Thursday with perhaps a thunderstorm in the afternoon. Any light rain will change to snow Friday as we cool. No snow accumulation expected. #mnwx #wiwx pic.twitter.com/JmosHaEC4o
