Azhanae Lawsha Moy, known as "Ryder," was last spotted on January 26, 2024, near Gingham Avenue. Described as a Black female adult with black hair and brown eyes, she stood 5'07" tall, weighed 140 lbs, and had a noticeable flower tattoo on her right shoulder. Out of concern for her well-being, her family had been appealing to the public for assistance, following her disappearance. Moy was last seen dressed in a white T-shirt paired with blue shorts. Found by the Aero Bureau and deputy personnel, her return was aided by concerted efforts, the department informed the public in a statement.
The LASD Missing Persons Unit had urged anyone with valuable information to step forward and contact the Homicide Bureau Missing Persons Detail or to report anonymously to Crime Stoppers.
