A Naperville man is now facing a slew of felony charges after police busted him for allegedly dealing methamphetamine. Andre Wilborn, Jr., 32, got nabbed by Naperville Police during an evening sting operation on Feb. 13, authorities said.

The arrest, which unfolded around 7:30 p.m. in a parking lot on the 1600 block of Country Lakes Drive, was the culmination of a four-month investigation. As the suspect was apprehended, items including drugs and money were discovered after searches were conducted at his nearby residence, all unfolding before the eyes of his minor child, according to Naperville Police.

Wilborn is staring down the barrel of several charges, according to authorities. He's been slapped with four counts of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, which include one Class Super X felony, two Class X felonies, and one Class 1 felony. But that's not all—Wilborn also got hit with misdemeanors for not having a Firearm Owner's Identification (FOID) card, which entails Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Illegal Possession of Ammunition, along with Endangering the Health/Life of a Child.

Naperville Police, having made the arrest, have reminded the public that these charges are just accusations, and like anyone else caught up in our criminal justice system, Wilborn is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
