The San Francisco Police Department is urgently requesting the assistance of the public to help locate a 16-year-old girl who has been reported missing since February 14. Mizan Dadres-Oman, the reported at-risk juvenile, was last seen on Wednesday afternoon in the 800 block of Foerster Street, as mentioned by the SFPD and reported by SFist.
Dadres-Oman is described as standing 5-foot-6, weighing approximately 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. In the hopes of quickly finding her, the SFPD has distributed still images captured from a doorbell camera on the day she went missing. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie and dark red sweatpants. According to an SFPD press release cited by SFist, she has a central auditory processing disorder, which effectively causes her to have logic and reasoning abilities similar to those of a younger preteen.
An Ebony Alert focusing on her case has been broadcast across San Francisco, Alameda, and Contra Costa counties. The SFPD has encouraged anyone with information regarding Dadres-Oman’s whereabouts to come forward and share their knowledge. Authorities are following every lead to ensure a safe return for the teenager. The SFPD and local community continue to be deeply concerned due to the vulnerable nature of Dadres-Oman's condition.
The police have stated that anyone who may spot Dadres-Oman should immediately call 911 and provide her current location and physical description. Information can also be anonymously shared by calling the SFPD Tip Line at 415-575-4444 or by texting a tip to TIP411, starting the message with "SFPD." The authorities are doing everything possible to ensure her safety and well-being. As conveyed by the SFPD on their Facebook page, the public’s help could be crucial in bringing Dadres-Oman home.
