There's a new face on the Saint Paul police force—well, new to the recruiting side of things, anyway. Sergeant Antwan Denson steps into the shoes of the new recruiting sergeant for the Saint Paul Police Department, as his predecessor, Sergeant Kou Yang, heads out on extended military leave. The Saint Paul PD took to Facebook to share the news and show their appreciation for Yang's diligent work in mentoring aspiring officers.
Sergeant Yang, recognized for his dedication to shaping recruits, is leaving big boots to fill. Still, Denson seems up to the task. With a history of service under the department's banner, he's expected to bring fresh energy to the force's recruitment efforts. The department has been actively scouring job fairs and local events to attract new talent, aiming to bolster their ranks with individuals committed to the community's safety.
Keen to carry the torch, Sergeant Denson is slated to make the rounds at upcoming job fairs and community events. The aim is clear: introduce himself to potential recruits and give a human face to the police force that serves the Saint Paul area. Eager candidates or those merely curious about a career in law enforcement are encouraged to reach out. The department has made it super easy to initiate contact—prospective applicants just need to give a shout at 651-703-3100 or hit up an email to [email protected], as announced on their Facebook page.
