A booze-fueled brawl in Colma has landed one man behind bars after he got into a scuffle with security officers and bit a cop. The free-for-all took place last Friday at a business in the 1700 block of Hillside Boulevard, where a 39-year-old San Francisco man was reportedly knocking back drinks before the altercation broke out.
According to the Colma Police Department, the male was heavily intoxicated when he became verbally aggressive toward the security team. He refused to grab a cab when asked to leave, escalating the showdown into a full-on melee with fists flying, and everyone took to the ground to duke it out. The police arrived to find the man still brawling, at which point he sank his teeth into one officer's hand, causing minor injuries, but they managed to cuff him without further drama.
The man's defiance didn't win him any fans among law enforcement. He now faces charges of battery against a police officer, assault, and disorderly conduct. His night out took a downturn as he was secured in handcuffs and transferred to the San Mateo County Jail.
