Heads up, Washington County residents and stakeholders: The Annual Utility Meeting is set for a March 13 rendezvous. And this time, they're mixing it up with a hybrid format. Folks can show up in person at the Washington County Public Works on Myreon Rd in Stillwater Township, or they can tune in live online via a Teams session. The main dish on the agenda is a presentation that'll lay out the 411 on highway right-of-way policies, permit protocols, and a sneak peek at the County's upcoming construction endeavors for the year 2024. The powwow kicks off at 9 AM sharp.
According to the press release, they're rolling out the red carpet for everyone from utility heavies to city reps, and even the bigwigs from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Minnesota Department of Transportation, Metro Transit, and the Metropolitan Council. Those with a stake in the game will get a chance to step up to the plate and showcase their construction plans—if they’re up for it. Once the show-and-tell is done, they’re going to open the floor to hash things out with a Q&A session.
