In a series of police actions over the past weekend, officers from the Milpitas Police Department have booked several individuals on various charges, ranging from burglary to DUI offenses. The string of arrests kicked off in the early hours of Friday morning and continued through Sunday night, according to the department.

First on the list was a 51-year-old man from San Jose nabbed while an officer was patrolling a commercial area on the 1750 Block of S. Main St at 3:18 AM on February 9. The suspect, who had multiple felony warrants for burglary, weapons violations, and theft-related charges, was arrested and booked into the Santa Clara County jail for his warrants, the department detailed.

The following night, on February 10, a 22-year-old San Francisco man found himself on the wrong side of the law near the 1450 Block of Dempsey Road at 12:26 AM, carrying an outstanding warrant for harboring a fugitive. Hours later, at 3:32 AM near Great Mall Pkwy/Montague Expressway, a 41-year-old Milpitas man was pulled over for a traffic infraction and subsequently arrested for operating his vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

An arrest later that early morning at 4:05 AM saw a 57-year-old woman from San Jose taken into custody near the 1000 Block of Hillview Ct. Hit with a staggering $50,000 warrant for burglary, she was also booked into the Santa Clara County jail. On Sunday, Milpitas Police officers detained a 62-year-old local man during a traffic stop near Jacklin Rd/Arizona Av. for DUI—this time with the added charges of narcotics possession and a failed attempt to bribe the arresting officers.

Wrapping up the weekend's spree, the Milpitas Police responded to a robbery near Arizona Av/Boyd St. A 56-year-old Los Angeles man had stolen takeout food from a minor strolling down the street. After locating the culprit, the officers arrested and booked him into jail on charges of robbery and public intoxication, putting an end to a busy weekend of law enforcement in Milpitas.
