The Neighborhood & Family Services Department has set Saturday, April 6, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., for their annual Health and Resource Fair at the AZ Complete Health Avondale Resource Center. This event promises to gather a litany of services under one roof, all in a bid to make community well-being accessible to the public, according to an announcement by the city.
For anyone in the Avondale area looking to quickly get informed about the local human and housing services, this free entry fair could prove a golden opportunity. The AZ Complete Health Avondale Resource Center, located at 995 E. Riley Drive, will provide resources such as AHCCCS, food stamps, parent education courses, and support groups. Furthermore, the event will dispense nutrition information along with mobile health units ready to serve, the city of Avondale reported.
