Stafford's shopping scene is set to get a makeover as Burlington gears up to take over the spot left vacant by Bed Bath & Beyond. According to a Houston Chronicle report, the national off-price retailer will open its new Stafford location in the Fountain on the Lake complex this spring. The addition will push the number of Burlington stores in Texas to a solid 115.
Meanwhile, over in Longview, Burlington is making a quick move to fill another former Bed Bath & Beyond outpost. The retail chain will cut the ribbon on its new digs this Friday, according to the Longview News-Journal. "With more than 1000 stores open nationwide at the end of Q4 2023," the store "is proud to offer customers amazing deals on quality top brands and the chance to find something new every time they shop," Burlington stated in a release.
The Longview store is starting its community presence on a high note, with a planned $5,000 donation to Bramlette Elementary STEAM Academy, in partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org. The grand opening festivities will not just introduce bargain-seekers to a new store, but also financially support local educators in procuring classroom supplies.
