According to Rediscover Arizona, visitors to the theater can now enjoy the newly established Encore Lounge, adorned with original photos, memorabilia, autographed guitars, and an upscale bar reflective of the venue's star-studded heritage. This addition, unveiled during the venue's diamond anniversary, stands as a tribute to the illustrious history of this entertainment landmark.

The theater, situated at the corner of 32nd and Fillmore streets, remains renowned for its distinctive revolving stage that continues to attract a broad range of acts, including musicians and comedians. Despite recent enhancements, including the sale of official Celebrity Theatre merchandise and upcoming behind-the-scenes tours, the venue was struck by loss earlier this month with the passing of its owner, Rich Hazelwood. In a statement acquired by The Business Journals, the theatre expressed its heartbreak and extolled Hazelwood's profound connection to the community and his commitment to the theater which he considered an extension of his family.

Rich Hazelwood, who preserved the specialty of the Celebrity Theatre after taking ownership in the 1990s, passed away on March 1. The venue confirmed that management of the historical site would transition to his daughter, Heidi. Since its inception in 1963, originally as a multipurpose conference center, the theater has seen the likes of B.B. King, Ringo Starr, and Fleetwood Mac grace its stage. It has also served the community by hosting the annual fundraiser by Alice Cooper, frontman of the Hollywood Vampires, aimed at aiding young musicians.
