
The Chicago Police Department has issued a missing person alert for 50-year-old John Linane who was last seen in the vicinity of 106th Street and Drake on March 17, 2024. Standing 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing around 240 pounds, Linane has blue eyes and blonde hair. He was described as having a light complexion.
Linane, who is white, was spotted last time donning a black Chicago Blackhawks baseball cap, a dark brown hooded jacket, and dark green pants. Known to usually navigate the area on foot, he is also a frequent visitor of the neighborhood around 111th Street and Central Park. Authorities have urged the public to keep a lookout for Linane, and those within the city limits should promptly call 911 if he is seen.
In a statement made available by the Chicago Police Department, the last recorded use of Linane's Ventra card was at the 95th and the Red Line CTA train station. The specifics of this occurrence could be critical to pinpointing his movements before he vanished.
