Chicago Police are on the lookout for a suspect tied to a daylight robbery in the city's South Side. The department released images of an individual and a vehicle that are believed to be involved in a theft incident that took place last month.
The robbery, captured on video now circulating online, occurred on the 1900 block of E. 91st St. at around 10:00 AM on February 18. Detectives from Area 2 are working quickly to definitively identify the person caught on camera. The footage, which can be viewed on the Chicago Police Department's official YouTube channel, shows the suspect clad in a striking red hood and a tan/beige pattern jacket, paired with black pants. The getaway car is described as a gray four-door sedan.

"Area 2 Detectives are seeking to identify the above pictured individual and vehicle in connection to a robbery," the CPD said in a bulletin, urging anyone with information to safely reach out and potentially aid in apprehending the suspect.
