Dallas Police have swiftly apprehended suspects in a series of unrelated business robberies that ransacked the city over the past month, in a show of force against local crime sprees. On February 27, officers responded to a heist at the 300 block of E. Ledbetter where culprits Jonathan Kirven and Daquincalyn Joseph threatened to shoot a victim, the suspects then fled but returned to hijack the victim's car, nearly mowing down police in their escape before their capture after a crash, according to the Dallas Police Department.
Earlier, on January 20, officers were called to Oak Lawn Avenue where Richard Green was later ID'd for brutalizing a staffer during a confrontation, the robbery unit pegged Green and subsequently snatched him up on February 23. The account of the January robbery and Green's apprehension was detailed in the same report from the Dallas Police Department.
The series of arrests continued, as on the morning of February 27, Quintaria Mitchell terrorized a store employee with a knife at Robert B. Cullum Boulevard, leaping off with loot only to be nabbed shortly thereafter. While another case unfolded on February 26, when Demitrious Gunn, after shoving a victim to the ground and inflicting injury, pilfered merchandise from a Harry Hines Boulevard store before law enforcement caught up with him not long after the incident. Both of these incidents were also cited by the Dallas Police Department's report.
