A deadly rollover crash that occurred on Interstate 17 in north Phoenix brought the southbound lanes to a standstill on Thursday, officials confirmed.
The collision, which took a fatal turn just before 3:00 p.m., involved a vehicle striking the center barrier and flipping over, as reported by FOX 10 Phoenix, causing not only tragic loss but also traffic mayhem as debris scattered across multiple lanes and prompted authorities to divert vehicles through the off-ramp at Loop 303 and Sonoran Desert Drive only then could they manage the snarled traffic as responders attended the chaotic scene.
