This unique opportunity opens an avenue for students to dive into computer simulators, enjoy field trips, and listen to guest speakers from the aviation sphere. It runs from 8:00 a.m. to noon, with a promised flying event on Saturday, June 1st. If your child’s interest is sky-high, then this camp is the place to be. But keep in mind, transportation to and from the camp is not provided.
The camp is endorsed by the Commemorative Air Force (CAF), and features the support of Mesa Falcon Field Airport along with the heavy hitters like Boeing and the Arizona Pilots Association (APA), not to mention other local aviation businesses. It's a significant collaboration aimed at inspiring the next generation of aviators.
Interested parties can snag a spot for their aspiring aviator with a $300 registration fee—a small price to pay for a possible future in the cockpit.
