The City of Goodyear reported that the Commission on Professional Credentialing recognized Wayne's superior service record in February, a notable feat considering the rigorous review process involved.
Wayne, now one of only 1,375 firefighters worldwide to hold the Chief Fire Officer designation, has demonstrated his mettle across multiple facets, including his vast experience, ongoing commitment to education, and dedication to his technical craft; he has steadfastly contributed to his community and the fire service profession, these accolades have not come easily but are a testament to Wayne’s consistent excellence and dedication in the firefighting realm which sees him now join the ranks of just 62 in Arizona to achieve this status.
