Gatlinburg - Hospitality Solutions and Hilton have announced the opening of the new Embassy Suites by Hilton Gatlinburg Resort, which promises to offer visitors both a taste of luxury and adventure in the Great Smoky Mountains. City leaders came together on Friday to celebrate the addition of this latest hotel and convention space expected to boost tourism and provide ample amenities for business and leisure travelers.
Located on Historic Nature Trail, just a stone's throw away from Gatlinburg's main drag, the resort features 164 all-suite rooms designed with comfort and space in mind. The attractions include three dining options, an onsite outfitter, and a large convention space that spans 12,800 square feet, ready to accommodate any gathering or corporate event, WVLT reported. "Hospitality Solutions continues to develop world class properties in Gatlinburg,” Chad Netherland, CEO/President of the Gatlinburg Convention & Visitors Bureau, said in a statement obtained by WVLT. “The new Embassy Suites is a perfect balance of leisure and convention space and is brilliantly done."
Aside from its business-friendly features, Embassy Suites Gatlinburg is making waves with its water attractions, including an indoor and an outdoor water park complete with lazy rivers and hot tubs set to open on April 15, as per Knox News. After taking a dip, guests can indulge in Appalachian cuisine at the resort’s signature restaurant, the Roaring Fork, or enjoy complimentary snacks and beverages at the Evening Reception.
Additionally, the sprawling resort aims to connect guests to the area's natural wonders with easy access to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, "Our resort will connect guests to the spirit of adventure," Logan Coykendall, president and CEO, of Hospitality Solutions told KRON4. The resort, with amenities like a creekside hot tub, outdoor fire pits, and an activity lawn with outdoor games seats guests in the lap of nature while providing all the comforts and conveniences of modern resort living.
The premiere of Embassy Suites by Hilton Gatlinburg Resort marks a significant expansion for Hospitality Solutions in the region, with its campus layout including a connection to its sister hotel property, Hampton Inn Gatlinburg Historic Nature Trail, through walkways. This setup is expected to cater to larger groups and events looking for seamless event and lodging solutions. In line with Gatlinburg's push to offer diverse lodging options, the resort hopes to draw in crowds with its blend of local charm and Hilton's global hospitality standards.
