
Early Wednesday morning, a Nashville firefighter was injured while responding to a blaze that engulfed a home in Donelson. The fire, which was reported before the break of dawn at around 6 a.m., took place in the 2500 block of Stinson Road. According to a statement obtained by WKRN, the firefighter sustained burn injuries and was urgently transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The Nashville Fire Department crews, upon arrival, sprung into action to control the fiery tempest that had also taken hold of a section of the roof. A spokesperson from the fire department confirmed to media that the fire had been contained and thorough checks were made to ensure the flames had not spread to other parts of the house. Thankfully, no civilians were caught in the fiery maw as the house was confirmed unoccupied at the time of the incident.
