A devastating crash in Marshall County, Mississippi, claimed the life of one individual and left four others injured on Wednesday morning. WREG reported that the collision involved a 2022 Dodge Ram and a 2009 Honda Accord and occurred just after 10 a.m. on Highway 302.
The Mississippi Highway Patrol, who responded to the accident scene, informed Local Memphis that the Dodge Ram was headed east on Highway 302, as the Honda Accord attempted a left turn onto the highway from Cayce Rd., when the two vehicles collided. A passenger in the Honda, Tihesha L. Joyner, a 46-year-old resident of Collierville, Tennessee, tragically died at the scene.
According to a report by FOX13 Memphis, the driver of the Dodge Ram, a 46-year-old man, and the driver of the Honda, a 24-year-old woman, alongside other passengers, sustained minor injuries. They were transported to a local hospital for treatment following the crash.
