The itinerant emblem of cute, the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck, is gearing up to sprinkle its distinctive brand of sugary charm over the denizens of Scottsdale later this month, as it makes a highly anticipated pitstop complete with a cache of exclusive merchandise. On March 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., fans and collectors will gather at Scottsdale Quarter, by the fountains in the quad, to get their paws on Hello Kitty-themed goodies ranging from plush toys to kitchenware, FOX 10 Phoenix reports.
The pop-up, which is a part of the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck's West Coast tour, will offer items such as a Hello Kitty Cafe Glass Mug with Sprinkle Handle, Hello Kitty Cafe Coin Bank, and a variety of T-shirts. The Hello Kitty Cafe Canvas Tote and an assortment of cookie sets are also among the sought-after merchandise on offer. In line with modern purchasing preferences, the event organizers have mandated a strict plastic-only policy – so, leave your cash at home and come armed instead with credit or debit cards.
In addition to the exclusives listed, ABC15 highlights that the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck will roll into the Valley for just one day each in Chandler and Scottsdale this month. As the truck takes a spin at the Chandler Fashion Center on March 16, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., eager fans can look forward to embarking on a kawaii plunder in front of the food court entrance.
For all those Hello Kitty aficionados out there, be sure to chart a course for the Scottsdale Quarter in the Quad near the Fountains. As the pop-up truck buzzes with activity, attendees can bask in the vibrant atmosphere and savor the delights of hand-decorated cookie sets, and the rich variety of stainless Hello Kitty Cafe Rainbow Thermos options, along with other fan favorites.
