Chaos erupted on Clarksville Pike last night when an argument turned to gunfire, leaving an innocent woman shot and an 18-year-old behind bars. Jakari Waters is facing charges of reckless endangerment and vehicle theft following the incident that occurred near the Little Barn Market, according to the Nashville Police Department's recent report.

The shootout, which unfolded after Waters and another man drew their guns during a verbal confrontation, unfortunately, caught a 30-year-old food truck worker in the crossfire. She was hit in the leg while serving customers, yet detectives quickly managed to track down Waters, leaving the gun used in the fray undiscovered.

The victim, who has not been identified, was rushed to Skyline Medical Center with injuries that were thankfully not life-threatening. Surveillance footage captured the scene of Waters fleeing in a stolen Nissan Murano, which was taken from a 21st Avenue North apartment complex parking garage on March 28th, per Nashville authorities.

Acting on a tip, the stolen Nissan along with Waters were found by the detectives, unfamiliar with the location, at his Lindsey Meadows Court home shortly after the shootout. Currently held on a $50,000 bond, Waters could face additional charges as the investigation continues, Nashville Police confirmed.
