Tragedy struck early Thursday morning when a multi-vehicle crash near the Memphis airport resulted in the death of two individuals and injuries to four others. Memphis Police were called to the chaotic scene at Shelby Drive and Swinnea Road shortly after 12:30 a.m., where they discovered the fatal accident.
Authorities confirmed that two victims were pronounced dead at the site of the wreck, as reported by Memphis Police Department's X account. In a desperate attempt to save lives, a man and a woman were rushed to Regional One Health in critical condition.
