An 8-year-old boy riding his scooter was hit by a Jeep on Monday evening in Haverhill, Massachusetts, authorities said. The child was struck by a 2004 Jeep Liberty shortly after 6:30 p.m. near 31 Arch Ave, according to the Haverhill Police Department.
The young pedestrian suffered injuries deemed not life-threatening and was transported to a hospital in the Boston area for treatment, police reported. As of now, the driver of the Jeep has not been charged, following the incident which is still under investigation. This information comes from a report by Boston 25 News.
