Atlanta police are on the hunt for a bold shoplifter who made off with a pricy timepiece from the Louis Vuitton store in Lenox Square. The heist happened on Sunday afternoon, and now there's a call for the public's help in catching the bandit.
The unidentified man reportedly swiped a $3,700 Louis Vuitton Horizon Light Up watch, a combination of style and tech in black and silver. He wasn't shy about it either, lifting the luxury item in plain sight before making his getaway, FOX 5 Atlanta reports. The store's security, albeit quick to react, couldn't nab the thief in time.
The police have been provided with a photo of the suspect and are appealing to anyone with information to step forward. Atlanta News First shared that there's even a $2,000 reward on offer for tips leading to an arrest. Thieves hitting high-end shops have become all too common, but law enforcement and businesses alike are determined to clamp down on such brazen daylight robberies.
