The Broward Sheriff's Office has launched a search for a missing 39-year-old man from Lauderdale Lakes, raising concerns for his well-being due to his mental health condition. Lester Frank Harrison, described as 6 feet tall and weighing around 300 pounds with black hair and green eyes, was last seen on Tuesday around 1 p.m. near the 3700 block of West Oakland Park Boulevard, as WSVN reported.
The search intensified after it was revealed by the individual who reported him missing that Harrison suffers from mental illness and is in need of medication, his absence thus becomes a dire situation with each passing hour, and the Broward Sheriff's Office has not yet provided an update on any leads or findings as to his whereabouts according to a statement obtained by Local 10 News.
Authorities are urging anyone with information about Harrison's location to come forward, emphasizing the urgency of the matter for his safety and the peace of mind of his community.
