
Broward County law enforcement officials have ramped up their efforts to locate a missing 25-year-old woman, Zion Coleman, whose disappearance from Oakland Park has raised concerns due to her state of mental health, as reported by Local10.
Officials from the Broward Sheriff's Office (BSO) are leading the search, stating that Coleman was last seen early Sunday morning in the vicinity of the 5700 block of North Dixie Highway, since then there has been no sign of her, according to Local10. She is described as being 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing about 250 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, and she was noted for her distinctive facial tattoos. BSO detectives have disseminated her last known attire, which includes a light-colored hooded sweatshirt and grey leggings, complemented by a white and pink tote bag with pink handles.
According to Local10, Coleman's family has underlined the critical nature of her condition as "a person living with mental illness," a point that underscores the urgency in finding her swiftly to ensure her safety. The BSO is reaching out to the community, encouraging anyone who can provide information regarding Coleman's whereabouts to step forward, as swift action could be pivotal in ensuring her wellbeing.
