The Chicago Police Department has issued an alert for a missing teenager, Shemeka Sneed, who was last seen on April 6, 2024, in the vicinity of the 300 block of 105th Place in Chicago, Illinois. Sneed, 14, is described as a Black female, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing around 125 pounds, with brown eyes and brown/blond hair. Concerns are growing for her well-being as days pass without any sign of her. According to the Chicago Police Department's official website, the young girl has a medium complexion and was born on July 21, 2009.

Details concerning her last known whereabouts remain sparse Sneed's disappearance is particularly disconcerting given her young age and the length of time since she was last seen; anyone with information is urged to come forward. 

The authorities have not released any information regarding whether they suspect foul play in Sneed’s disappearance but maintain that the priority is to bring her home safely.
