Downtown Goodyear's transformation into a bustling business hub is gaining new traction with the arrival of Copper & Sage at GSQ. The establishment, a brainchild of Westside Concepts, brings a Southern touch to the gastropub scene with a menu boasting staples like Nashville hot chicken and mussels. Their doors will swing open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a side of innovation, according to a report by Goodyear's official site.

Excitement is brewing, especially within city walls, as Mayor Joe Pizzillo voiced enthusiasm for the gastronomic addition. "I am looking forward to the opening of one of the first restaurants at GSQ," the mayor told Goodyear city's news page. "Goodyear residents have been asking for more amenities, and this is the start of all that is to come to the area immediately around city hall. The synergy this will create is exciting and I can’t wait for Copper & Sage to open soon!" The establishment is taking shape on 150th Drive, just north of McDowell Road and its debut is slated for later in the year.

The eatery's vibe is captured aptly by Westside Concepts Owner and West Valley resident Joey Lucidi. "Vintage and warm are good words to describe Copper & Sage," Lucidi described. "Whether it's Tuesday night and you want great bar food, or whether it's your anniversary and it's a special night out, this is the place. We're really excited to be opening in Goodyear at GSQ. It's more of what we need in the West Valley." GSQ, owned by Globe Corporation, morphs into a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly zone, featuring around 150 acres of high-end dining, shopping, and entertainment.

George Getz, President and Co-CEO of Globe Corporation, has his eye on the prize, recognizing Copper & Sage's well-forged reputation. "We are excited to announce that the wildly popular, Copper & Sage is coming to GSQ in Goodyear," Getz stated with confidence. "The success that Joey Lucidi has had with all his concepts and especially Copper & Sage will complement the lineup of restaurants and retail at GSQ. This kind of dining is what the residents of Goodyear have been asking for and, we are delivering. Downtown Goodyear is really taking shape with more announcements coming shortly." Additions like The Stillery, High Tide Seafood, Bacchus Wine Bar, The Yard Milkshake Bar, Over Easy and Shake Shack, are also set to call GSQ home.
