An employee of the Dallas Police Department found herself on the wrong side of the law after being cuffed for a family violence charge, authorities revealed. Jennifer Hannon, a 911 call taker for the department, was arrested by the Arlington Police Department on April 13th, according to a press release posted on the Dallas Police Department.
Hannon, who was off-duty during the time of the incident, faces a Class A misdemeanor for the family violence allegations, a revelation that adds a layer of complexity to the public's trust in those tasked with emergency response, not to mention the swift irony of a dispatcher for distress calls becoming the subject of police attention.
