
The Dallas Police Department is reaching out to the public to assist in the hunt for a man implicated in an attempted sexual assault that occurred in the early hours of March 31, on the 5900 block of Arapaho Road, as reported by the Dallas Police Department.
Officials detailed the suspect as a 5'6" black male, on the slighter side, with darker skin who, after the assault attempt, fled without a shirt on and wearing only blue jeans; he snuck up on the woman outside her apartment near her vehicle and attempted to sexually assault her but she fought him off and he ran off, eluding capture, according to a statement obtained by DPD Beat.
The ordeal unfolded at approximately 2:00 a.m., and the victim managed to escape the assailant's clutches, prompting the man to take off from the scene, while investigators are now piecing together evidence and soliciting tips that might reveal the identity of the unknown assailant. The Dallas Police Department urges anyone in the vicinity of the incident to stay vigilant and report any individuals matching the suspect's characteristics.
