Firefighters responded to the distress call at approximately 12:40 p.m. near the intersection of 83rd and Glendale Avenues, according to azfamily.com. Upon arrival, emergency crews discovered a truck in flames and extinguished the fire, but the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
