In a separate, yet equally harrowing event on Saturday, a four-story apartment building in Golden Glades fell victim to a fire that left two adults and three children without a home, causing the American Red Cross to step in with aid. The fire occurred near Northeast 145 Street and Sixth Avenue, directly affecting the second floor of the Oak Grove Apartments, fire officials were quick to get to the scene and, the cause of this destruction is also under investigation as reported by Local10.
