A baby tragically passed away on Tuesday morning after being found unresponsive in a Tamarac home, as confirmed by the Broward Sheriff’s Office. The distress call was made just after 7:30 a.m. from a residence located on the 9500 block of Northwest 74th Court, Tamarac Talk reported.
The emergency services, comprising BSO deputies and Tamarac Fire Rescue, rushed to respond to urgently help the baby who was found in an unresponsive state. Despite their efforts to revive, the infant was pronounced dead after being transported to a local hospital, according to Local 10 News.
BSO has since initiated a homicide investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death. The office's spokeswoman, Miranda Grossman, has stated that detectives from the homicide unit were duly notified and the cause and manner of death will soon be thoroughly investigated by the Broward Medical Examiner’s Office.
