Kennesaw's First Friday Concert Series Returns with Eclectic Lineup from May to OctoberSource: City of Kennesaw, GA

The city's Downtown Development Authority in partnership with the Downtown Merchants Association, just gave the green light for the First Friday Concert Series, according to a recent announcement. The annual happening, backed by LOUD Security, is set to bring tunes back to the streets starting this May.

Spanning from May to October, these concerts invite residents to mingle through Kennesaw's bustling downtown from 7:00 – 9:30 p.m., while avoiding the July heat with a pause in the schedule. Visitors can expect more than just musical performances; the series paves the way for a night filled with diverse shopping and dining potentials, according to city officials.

The lineup for the concert series looks promising, featuring bands that cater to a range of musical tastes. Kicking off on May 3 with Weekend Getaway, the event will see G Cleft and the Playlist taking the stage come June 7. Following a quiet July, OTP Outside the Perimeter will grab the spotlight on August 2. Moving into the fall, September 6 will host Bumpin’ The Mango, and sealing the series on October 4 will be the 293 Band. Each of these Friday festivities promises to be the perfect kickstarter to the weekend.

Details about the series are available for would-be attendees on Kennesaw's official website
