
Transit Police officers were dispatched to Ashmont station of the MBTA yesterday after reports surfaced of a man allegedly attempting to inappropriately touch women. The incident, which took place around 3 PM, led to the apprehension of a 37-year-old male on the platform.
According to a post on X by the MBTA Transit Police, the suspect was found to have outstanding warrants for his arrest. Further investigation by the officers revealed that the individual was believed to be in possession of cocaine. The man was promptly taken into custody.

Following the arrest, the suspect was transported to TPD Headquarters where he underwent the booking process. The authorities have not released the name of the individual nor provided detailed information about the nature of the warrants at this time.
