Early Saturday morning, a man was critically injured in a shooting near Austin Peay Highway and Raleigh Millington Road in Raleigh, Memphis, FOX13 Memphis reported. Responding officers found the victim, who had been seriously wounded by gunfire, at the scene shortly before 5:30 a.m.
The injured man was transported to Regional One Health in critical condition, and as of yet, the Memphis Police Department has not released information on any suspects or motives behind the incident, Action News 5 detailed that authorities are currently seeking information from the public.
Moreover, this shooting was not an isolated event; Memphis Police are investigating multiple shootings that took place over the weekend, with various victims reported, including one man critically injured at 3888 Macon Road shortly after 11 p.m. on Friday, as Local Memphis has stated.
