A morning altercation in Memphis' Westwood neighborhood ended with a man hospitalized with serious injuries and a woman in police custody, officials said.
The Memphis Police Department arrived at the scene on the 4300 block of Deerland Street, shortly before 7:30 a.m. where they discovered, a wounded man, Local Memphis reported. The victim, whose identity has not yet been released, was promptly transported to Regional One Health, noted for his critical condition.
